Netflix Feb Releases (Mobhouse Productions)
Netflix Feb Releases

January passed by in a blink of an eye and Netflix new releases for February are here!

Nice lah! While scrolling through Facebook, I saw a post on Netflix new releases for February and I can’t wait to watch a few titles this weekend! We have 4 categories; Film, Series, K-Drama, and Studio Ghibli!

Here are some that I’ll be watching!

1. To All The Boys 2: P.S I still Love you

If you’ve watched To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before… you’d know that Lara and Peter were a pretend-couple. In this sequel, they are officially together! Lara shares many of her firsts with him- first kiss, first date, and first Valentine’s Day. Of course, her friends are there to help her manage the complex emotions that come with this new chapter of balancing a relationship and figuring out her authentic self.

BUT GUESS WHAT.

One of her old crushes enters her life again and now she can only rely on herself as she’s confronted with her FIRST real dilemma; Can a girl be in love with 2 boys at once?

Lol teenagers… A problem I wish I had. :’)

2. I Am Not Okay

I Am Not Okay follows teenagers Sydney and Stanley as they go through highs and lows of high school and growing up. As if high school isn’t bad enough already, Sydney is also dealing with some family issues and her sexuality. Things get even more confusing when she discovers that she has mysterious superpowers too.

Wah, give this girl a break!

In the trailer, Sydney is walking to school as Stanley pulls up beside her. Stanley asks Sydney to hop in the car, and they both share a ride to school before the title of the show fills the screen as the car drives off into the distance. Looks like Netflix doesn’t want to give too much away. This better be good!

3. My Holo Love

Korean producers are too amazing these days. They can come up with super brilliant ideas that make a story addictive! My Holo Love is about a 30-year-old woman who has no friends because she cannot recognize faces.

One day, she becomes the beta tester for an AI Holo companion called Holo. Of course, just like any love stories, their relationship goes beyond companionship. What she doesn’t know is that the AI Holo is created to look exactly like the game’s developer. When she meets him in real life, she mistakes him for her AI companion and kisses him. LOL.

FIRST THEY STEAL OUR JOBS. THEN THEY COOK BETTER THAN US. THEN THEY WANT TO SWEAT LIKE US. NOW THEY WANNA MAKE LOVE HAPPEN BETWEEN HUMANS. WOW!

4. Castle In The Sky

Castle In The Sky is a classic as it is the first-ever film animated by Studio Ghibli that was released in 1986 (although some may consider it to be the second according to Ghibli Wiki.

The film follows the adventures of a young orphan boy and a young farm girl, Pazu and Sheeta. Sheeta holds the secret of an ancient floating castle in the clouds that Pazu’s father spent years trying to find. Both of them go on a journey to discover the truth, but air pirates and military agents are also seeking for the floating castle! Danger lurks around every corner and all they have is each other.
